Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Sealsimple. By using the service you agree to them.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Sealsimple you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The Service
Sealsimple provides electronic signature and document workflow tools. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for activity under your account, for keeping your credentials secret, and for the accuracy of any information you submit. You must be at least 18 years old.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of documents you upload or create. You grant Sealsimple a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely to operate the service for you.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use Sealsimple to send unlawful content, impersonate others, forge signatures, distribute malware, or interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that violate this section.
6. Subscriptions & Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance via Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the paid period.
7. Legal Validity of Signatures
Sealsimple signatures are designed to comply with the U.S. ESIGN Act, UETA, and the EU eIDAS Regulation for simple electronic signatures. You are responsible for confirming that an electronic signature is appropriate for your specific use case.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sealsimple's liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination you can export your data for thirty days.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notice at least fourteen days before they take effect.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights.
